The Last House on the Left
It's official! Adams and I have moved the bulk of our stuff into the Tanager place. Last night was the 2nd night sleeping there.
My parents AND BROTHER, David! chipped in with moving the heavy stuff. Their trucks and trailer helped tremendously...it probably took about 3 hours. David was the one to notice that we are living in the last house on the left. Although technically it's the 1st house on the right.....anyway we decided we should get the movie poster...what a horrible movie though...
The last things we moved were the kitties. Linus went in the carrier with Adams and I took Winston wrapped in a towel like a kittie burrito in my car. He did really well. He meowed a bit, but chilled in the seat for the most part. They acted like we were punishing them when we let them loose in the kitchen. Strange but they both ran downstairs to Adams' music room..it had the most familiar stuff from the Bluff house. Linus is always slow to warm to new situations. He hid in the little cubby behind the amp. I think they explored while we were sleeping. Linus spent the next day either in the music room or under the bed. Winston claimed his stoop at the top of the stairs. Last night and this morning they were fighting over it. Once things finally settle down (and we stop moving things around) I think the kids will too.
We still have miscellaneous stuff at the Bluff house: my skate gear, THE CAMERA, food, and other crap. I can't wait to be finished cleaning and we haven't even begun...not my favorite activity. We should have internet at the new place sometime today. yay!

i'm glad the kiddies are getting settled! i can imagine the transportation, that part is never fun! so it's happy that they made it to the new house safely! have fun cleaning up after yourself in the old house, that part is never fun either! BUT.....THEN.....you get to decorate and settle in the new place which is LOADS of fun!!!
